The new H&M store at Elliott’s Field in Rugby opened its doors for the first time today, and I was super excited to be a part of the launch! It was fun being able to have a look around the store before it officially opened, watching the staff perform a dance routine for all the customers patiently waiting for the red ribbon to be cut, and see everyone smiling as they entered the new shop with a DJ, a face painter and balloon-modeller!
Here’s a timelapse video of some of the first customers to walk through to doors.
It’s the final store (of confirmed stores so far) to open in the new Elliott’s Field shopping park and again, another welcome addition to the town! There were lots of other parents and grandparents entering the store this morning, and like me, they were probably quite happy to see such a big childrenswear department! Taking up the majority of the first floor space, there is a good range of both boys and girlswear, as well as an adorable selection of babywear, and then a smaller section of menswear. On the groundfloor, there is womenswear, lingerie, shoes and accessories, and most importantly at this time of year – plenty Christmas jumpers!
£100 Voucher Competition
To celebrate the official launch of Elliott’s Field, which takes place this Saturday, I ran a competition on behalf of Elliott’s Field to win £100 vouchers to spend at the retail park, and I can announce that the winner is…
Congratulations Matthew and thank you to everyone who entered!
Official Launch & Black Friday
Remember to get yourself down for the official launch this Saturday which will see the Mayor of Rugby cut the ribbon, as well as entertainment by Rugby FM and lots of special offers and promotions happening in the stores for the Black Friday bonanza!
To help you plan your shop for Black Friday, Elliott’s Field have put together a helpful map to help you make the most of Black Friday deals:
Thanks again to Elliott’s Field for inviting me to the launch today, and to H&M for the goodie bag! Also, it was great to meet the lovely Kayleigh and Holly (& little Texas!) – you can check out their blogs here: www.kayleighpope.co.uk and www.iamhollymatthews.com
