Houlton’s Half Term ‘House Builders of the Future’ Activity Day

Urban&Civic to launch first House Builders of the Future activity day at Houlton on Saturday 28th October, to mark the opening of Davidsons Homes show home at Dollman Meadow.

Welcoming LEGO® fans of all ages to The Barn at Dollman Farm for the last Saturday of half term, from 10:00am – 4:00pm, littles and larges alike will be able to participate in a live build of a giant LEGO bricks mosaic, helping to lay the colourful pieces that will make up a future street scene of Houlton.

Rugby’s children will also be able to participate in Houlton’s LEGO bricks ‘Make and Take’ zone, where event goers can imagine and build their own ‘House of the Future’ and then take it home with them.
Locals are encouraged to register their interest for the activity day on Houlton’s Facebook event page to avoid disappointment.
Richard Coppell, Development Director for Urban&Civic said; “The opening of Davidsons Homes show home marks a pivotal mile stone in the development and the prospective future of many locals lives here at Houlton. Its delivery comes at a time when we have three housebuilders now on site and our forthcoming House Builders of the Future activity day is a great way to continue to build those bricks with our growing community”.

As well as 6,200 homes, the Houlton development will also bring three primary schools and a secondary school, an eight-GP health centre, extensive walkways, cycle ways and green spaces as well as commercial space and new business. The development will take some 15 years to deliver.
